I'm happy to announce that Santa will be returning for his 4th year with Heather Puett Photography. You wont want to miss this one of a kind experience. 20 minutes of time with Santa. Just your family and the big guy. 2 photo sets, one of which will include a craft/activity with Santa. Don't be surprised if you find Santa dancing, singing, and playing with the kids all over the studio. This is definitely not your typical experience. We are already half way booked so contact me soon to reserve your spot.

A few weeks ago I headed out to Bothell Landing and did some many sessions. The day was perfect and I got to meet with several return clients. We all had a lot of fun and captured some wonderful memories.
Some little ones are just more serious then others. We never can anticipate how a session will go. Kason is a serious little guy and would rather be held by his mommy, then have me take his photos. His older brother Wes is very opposite and LOVES the camera. I've been photographing them both since they were born. I love getting to see them grow and the differences in personalities. We did this session in 2 parts. Kason was not a happy camper in the studio and did not like the Cake Smash, however big brother was eager to sneak in for a bite. A few weeks later we got together at a park and tried for some more life-style type shots. The results were a little better but still no big gins. This is just who he is and that perfectly fine cause he's still cute as can be!
I've watched this beautiful family grow from, mom and dad anxiously awaiting their fist baby girl, to the birth of their baby boy. Two little ones in tow now and they are happy as can be. Such a wonderful family and I always look forward to photographing them.
This year I decided to do something a little different. I invited Santa into my studio to not just do photos with the kids but hang out with them. Each child/family had 20 minutes with the big guy. They made a craft, read a story, played or just hung out. It was great. It really eased the fear for some kids and to see how excited they were really warmed my heart. Even Santa loved the idea and looks forward to next year.
Can't believe a year has flown by since this little guy first came to me as a sweet little newborn with a head full of dark brown hair. He's such a handsome fella. We took advantage of a dry day and captured some Fall color with his parents before heading to the studio for his Cake Smash session.
I was so excited to hear that Carrie and Jason were expecting another addition. I first met them when they were expecting their first baby and have been photographing each of their little girls milestones since. Now they were expecting a little boy. How perfect! Little Miss Lila loved helping me photograph her parents as well as having some fun in the leaves. What a great session.
When I was contacted by Meggan to photograph her and her baby I was a bit nervous. She's a photographer that recently relocated here from Arizona. Photographing another photographer always makes me nervous. When they came to the studio I was instantly relaxed. Meggan is so much fun to work with and her baby is just adorable and full of personality. As I photographed the two of them together I wished I had done this with my kids when they were babies. Watching Meggan and her son and the love and bond between each other was the sweetest thing. It's moments like this we need to capture and cherish forever. I promise you'll never regret it. You'll regret not having them because of your insecurities, not enough time etc.
I met Angela through a facebook group when I was looking for a trade for some work. Her handy husband came in and saved the day....or made the water and ice maker work on or fridge :) Bartering is such a wonderful thing. People have been doing it for hundreds of years and to this day still do. I have my filtered water and they now have their memories.
We met at Jennings Park one evening. They came with their four, very photogenic, children. We had a great session and captured some really wonderful portraits. Sweet little Julian is my cousin Laura's newest addition. Laura and her husband, Benito, have some of the most beautiful children. I was so excited to learn they were expecting a little boy after already having two little girls. What a fun ride this will be for them lol Julian had a rough start and spent a couple weeks in the hospital. I know it was very tough on this little family to have mom and new baby away for two weeks. Dad did a great job taking care of the girls while mom stayed with Julian. Once Julian was home it was time to get their family photos done. Everyone did fantastic, even when Dad got pooped on, he took it like a champ :)
