Heidi and I were BFF's in high school. As time went on we went out separate ways. We became adults, got married and started families. I hadn't seen Heidi in about 10 years and was so excited when she booked a photo session for her boys. They are BEAUTIFUL and full of love and smiles (even if they didn't want to flash those smiles at the camera) Her oldest also happened to be turning 2 this day so I had some balloons ready to celebrate.

After many times of rescheduling due to various reasons, mostly weather, we finally headed out to Edmonds beach for Emmett's 7 month photos. The day was perfect. A little chilly but not too sunny and NO RAIN!!! He wasn't too sure about me, probably because I was crawling all over in the sand and acting a little crazy lol Hey, ya do what ya can to make them smile :)
Typically newborn sessions are done when the precious bundle of joy is less then 14 days old. Babies this age usually sleep better and are more "pose-able." This adorable little guy came to the studio at 5 weeks old. He was a dream! We started with some nice wide awake shots and after sometime he went to sleep and even let me pose him. At 5 weeks old and 10 1/2 pounds he's not quite as smooshy as a 7 day old but he did fantastic. What a little ham!
I took a drive out to beautiful Sammamish a couple of weeks ago. I met an adorable little family with a beautiful little boy. Little Atticus, what a big name to grow into.
What a fun session this was! 5 little girls and tons of tulle, ribbon, grins and sparkles. These little ladies were adorable as I photographed them for Rayelle who sell's these amazing creations HERE. Do you have a little girl or know someone who does or will be? These make great gifts!
This adorable guy is turning one. His parents decided to do one of my favorite sessions, Cake Smash!! We start with some more "traditional" photos and move on to some yummy messy fun. Caleb wasn't so sure about all the new flavors and textures but he amused us and played with his cake a little bit.
You might remember this little lady. She was the speedy delivery I missed just a couple weeks ago. She is just so teeny and petite and such a sweetie. She really wanted to stay awake to see what I had in mind for her photos lol And her brother, boy is he a character. He made me laugh about 100 times while I was there.
My sister, Tiffany, is participating in the Relay For Life. Each person who donates $5 will be entered to win a Biggie Digi photo session. Click HERE to donate. comment with "Sent by Heather Puett Photography" Every $5 get's you one entry.
