I was so excited to hear that Carrie and Jason were expecting another addition. I first met them when they were expecting their first baby and have been photographing each of their little girls milestones since. Now they were expecting a little boy. How perfect! Little Miss Lila loved helping me photograph her parents as well as having some fun in the leaves. What a great session.    I only met this family a few months ago and I already feel so bonded to them. We first met when Cherish contacted me about photographing her husband coming home from a deployment. I joined her, their 3 year old and several other families at the Naval station in Oak Harbor and watched many families reunite. If you haven't ever seen one of these in person you really should. It really is so powerful and gives you an even better understanding of what these families go through. It was hard to cry and stay "focused." For some reason I think I missed blogging that session so I'll share a few photos here.     And this is a very very special photo, in the background you see a man meeting his baby for the first time. <3    And because we can't leave man's best friend out of a homecoming  And sometimes a few months later you get a call to photograph something like this.......    It's  A....    I first mat this wonderful family when they were expecting Hunter. I then did Hunter's newborn photos. It was such a pleasure that they came back for me to photograph them a year and a half later when they were expecting there little girl. Hunter is so so CUTE! He wasn't too sure about photos first but he warmed up and hammed it up for the camera. Congratulations again you guys!       Even though I just delivered Carrie and Jason's newborn gallery today I still just have to share their Maternity session. It's just so beautiful and was so much fun. This adorable, sweet, funny couple came to my Everett studio for their Maternity session. They were anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby boy #2. I loved watching Dad with Mama's belly. He was so sweet and tender and you could already see the love. I was also excited because I was doing a very special family session for them the next day and was going to be meeting many more members of this great family! 
Not knowing if Daddy would be on deployment or not Anitra decided to book 2 maternity sessions to make sure he was included in at least one. What a gorgeous mama she is! She arrives with the cutest little 20 week belly. I'm so excited because it looks like we're in luck and Dad will be here for the next session, which will be happening in just over a week. Can't wait to see how much her baby bump has grown!     I already know the answer to that question as I'm very behind on blogging ;) We had such a fun session though and this was one of the most fun families I've ever worked with. Stay tuned to not only find out the gender of their little baby but to take a peek at some photos from the birth of their baby as well as the newborn session. 
This Momma-to-be is gorgeous, like super model gorgeous! Lucy's mom encouraged her to capture this beautiful time in her life and I couldn't agree with her more. Lucy also serves for our country so it was important to incorporate that into her session. Thank you Lucy for all that you do! 
Tessa and I met to capture this beautiful time in her life. She was absolutely radiant. You could tell she was so excited to be expecting a baby girl. We had so much fun during her session. I'm a bit behind on blogging and have already photographed her new baby so stay tuned for that session as well.
