We met at Jennings Park one evening. They came with their four, very photogenic, children. We had a great session and captured some really wonderful portraits.
I met Angela through a facebook group when I was looking for a trade for some work. Her handy husband came in and saved the day....or made the water and ice maker work on or fridge :) Bartering is such a wonderful thing. People have been doing it for hundreds of years and to this day still do. I have my filtered water and they now have their memories.

I only met this family a few months ago and I already feel so bonded to them. We first met when Cherish contacted me about photographing her husband coming home from a deployment. I joined her, their 3 year old and several other families at the Naval station in Oak Harbor and watched many families reunite. If you haven't ever seen one of these in person you really should. It really is so powerful and gives you an even better understanding of what these families go through. It was hard to cry and stay "focused." For some reason I think I missed blogging that session so I'll share a few photos here. And this is a very very special photo, in the background you see a man meeting his baby for the first time. <3 And because we can't leave man's best friend out of a homecoming And sometimes a few months later you get a call to photograph something like this....... It's A.... I've done a few head shots and would love to offer this service more. Just posting a few examples to show my work. Please contact me if you are interested in professional Head Shots.
I actually photographed this beautiful family a few months ago but realized that I forgot to blog about the session. The session was so gorgeous there's no way I couldn't share it. We met at Bothell Landing on a beautiful early evening and the photos turned out stunning. Congratulations on your recent marriage!
I've had such a pleasure watching Kevin and Crystal grow together and become closer as a family. In a few months they will be getting married and I am so happy for them. They've taken on each others boy's as their own and it's so heart warming to see. It's not everyday you see something as great as what they have. Congratulations you guys!
This Fall I was able to set up a few Fall sessions at the Washington State Arboretum. Such a GORGEOUS location. I met some new families and had some return clients. So much fun! I am so thankful to be able to capture these beautiful memories for these people to hang on their walls and cherish forever.
It has been such a joy to watch Jessica grow from a pleasant, bright, beautiful girl in to such an amazing young woman. I'm so proud of her accomplishments and am happy to see how in love and happy she is with Jorge. Not everyone is as lucky as they are. To meet, fall and love, and marry your High school (or maybe Junior High I believe) sweet heart is something some could only dream of. Congratulations you two. I look forward to watching the two of you grow as a couple and in many years ;) grow as a family.
I have been friends with Heather for 15 years. She is so much fun and has such a great personality. She also has really great ideas. She approached me about an Alice In Wonderland photo session. I was a little hesitant. I was worried I would let her down and the photos wouldn't be as good as she hoped for. I had never done a themed session like this before. When she arrived I was so excited to see that her husband came along in full Mad Hatter gear. How awesome is that?!
Ty Trenary is now the Snohomish County Sheriff and will be running in the election for 2014/2015. I met up with him and his wife, along with their two beautiful daughters, to take some updated photos for his campaign. They were all so much fun and so easy to work with. I look forward to working with them again in the future.
Recently my daughters 2nd grade teacher contacted me to do some headshots for her husband. At first I had no idea what he needed them for or even that he was a Captain for Snohomish County Sheriff's Department. I was excited to learn that he would be taking over Sheriff for 2013 and be running for 2014-2015. While maybe this is small to some but it's been exciting to see my work out in the public.
Soon Sheriff Trenary and I will be out in the community capturing some of his interactions with members of the community. I'm looking forward to following him through his campaign. Congratulations Sheriff Trenary and thank you for all that you and department do to keep our community safe. |
