It was so great to have another extended family member from this family come to my studio. It was short noticed but we made it happen and got some really gorgeous photos of this sweet baby girl and her momma. Isabella put up a fight but in the end, I won ;)

Emma is truly an AMAZING young lady. She suffers form a condition called Alopecia. She, along with her family, began a mission. They knew that Emma would be needing a new hair piece soon. These hair pieces are very expensive. They decided to reach out to the community and collect donated ponytails to give Locks of Love. Boy did they go above and beyond the goals they set for themselves. I was so touched by what they were doing not only did I donate some of my own hair but I just had to meet Emma and give her a photo session. We couldn't make it just about her condition though. Such a beautiful young woman, inside and out. Thank you Emma for all that you've done and for letting me capture your smile <3 To learn more about Emma you can find her group on facebook.
Recently my daughters 2nd grade teacher contacted me to do some headshots for her husband. At first I had no idea what he needed them for or even that he was a Captain for Snohomish County Sheriff's Department. I was excited to learn that he would be taking over Sheriff for 2013 and be running for 2014-2015. While maybe this is small to some but it's been exciting to see my work out in the public.
Soon Sheriff Trenary and I will be out in the community capturing some of his interactions with members of the community. I'm looking forward to following him through his campaign. Congratulations Sheriff Trenary and thank you for all that you and department do to keep our community safe. These two little cuties might be twinsies but they sure are different. One thing they do have in common is that they are ADORABLE! They also both have gorgeous eyes (even though their eyes are different colors as well).
This handsome guy surprised everyone by arriving a few weeks early. He was healthy as can be though and ready for his newborn photoshoot. He was so tiny and sweet, I could have just held him all day.
I've only done a handful of boudoir sessions and this was my first pin-up type session. I was very anxious and excited when Brittney contacted me to do her session.
When she walked in I was so excited because she took the extra time and money and had her hair and make-up professionally done. This really can make a HUGE difference. I'm not saying everyone can't do a great job themselves but it really does give that polished look. She was a KNOCK-OUT! She really looked the look. Her outfits were perfect, even her tattoos were perfect. What a gorgeous woman. Thank you Brittney for putting your trust in me to provide you beautiful photos. Little Dietrich just turned One. I've followed him through his 1st year and what fun it's been. I have to say this session was my favorite. His is absolutely the most expressive 1 year old I know. He made so many different faces couldn't believe it and had me laughing non-stop. What and adorable little guy, he sure does have some lucky parents! Happy birthday little fella!
This Momma-to-be is gorgeous, like super model gorgeous! Lucy's mom encouraged her to capture this beautiful time in her life and I couldn't agree with her more. Lucy also serves for our country so it was important to incorporate that into her session. Thank you Lucy for all that you do!
This little lady had a hard time cracking a smile for me but BOY did she love on her momma. Just warmed my heart to see her smile for her mom and kiss on her. Sweet, drooly baby kisses. We spent a little time outside and then headed to the studio to finish up. Such a sweet baby.
