I've gotten to know this family so well. A year ago Cindy contacted me to set up a Maternity/Birth/Newborn session. Since then I've also done her ENTIRE families Christmas photos and this week, her kiddos photos. In April I get to photograph her son's First Communion. I am really looking forward to it. Cindy and I have now become friends and I love when it is time to meet up for photos! Her 2 kids are ADORABLE!!!

I got to see baby Finn again. He came to the studio along with his Mom, Dad and big brother Liam. When I last saw him he was just a couple hours old. Today he looked so good and squishy. He's my biggest newborn to photograph and was such a rock star! He joins 2 big sisters and 1 big brother and completes this beautiful family.
These little cuties are 2 weeks a part in age and are BFF's. They weren't too interested in having their photos taken but overall, I think we did pretty good.
On February 7th (My big sister birthday) I was on-call for a birth. Mamma was being induced and I was just waiting for the call. Even with great communication we can just never be too sure what the body might do. I arrived to the hospital 15 minutes after the nameless baby was born. I was heart broken. I was so glad I could be there for this little family and capture so many first moments but so sad to have missed the BIG moment. excited b
This little lady was gorgeous. Her eyes were open the entire 3 hours I was there. When her excited big brother came to meet her I was so happy I could be there to capture the emotion on his face. He also said the funnest things. "Mom, she'e eating you!" "Mom your not fat anymore!" "Is my baby sister naked?!?!?" He was a riot and such a spunky thing. The concern on his face when his sister was getting a shot was so sweet. What a protector he will be. P.S. Baby has a name now, Danielle. Baby FInnegan is #4 for this beautiful family. I first met them during our Christmas Mini sessions when Mindy was still pregnant. Their family is adorable and the other 3 children were so well behaved.
Mindy decided for an all natural water birth for her final addition. Little did she know he would be 10lbs 8 oz. She saw the goal, reached it and delivered a beautiful baby boy. I came to the birth center when Finnegan was just 2 hours old. I was amazed at the chubs (I love me some baby chubs) He is so adorable. I could have snatched him up and snuggled for hours. Daddy, Will, was so amazing just jumped right in, got him all dressed and in the car seat ready to go meet his big sisters and brother. So cute, I love involved daddies. Can't wait until this Saturday when they come to the studio for Finnegan's newborn session. I'll surely get some snuggles in then :) Back January I ran a "True Love" Contest. Amy Schmitt won the contest and donated it to a really fantastic and deserving couple, Matt and Jen.
Life has been less then easy for them but the love they have for each other is very obvious! They were so much fun to not only photograph but to chat with. We had very similar sense of humors (Those of you that know me can only imagine how much fun we had lol). My family and I headed to The fairgrounds to check out the model train show. Shane was amazed at all the trains. It was tough on him that he couldn't touch EVERY train. Julia was not too impressed but she was a good sport about it. I had the pleasure of photographing Riley when she was 3 weeks old. Now she's 6 months old and such a beautiful little thing. She didn't have any smiles for me but I'm pretty sure she knows she's grogeous even with out a big smile on her face.
Give Shane 100 candy hearts and he'll be as cooperative as can be :) I am so pleased at how these turned out. Boy do I love my babies!! My mother was hassling me about not having any photos of my kids on her wall and how terrible that is since their own mom is a photographer. Mom, prints will be here Monday. Happy Valentine's Day!
I had this beautiful 14 day old newborn girl in studio last week. She was such a little peanut. We started the session with some great wide eyed photos and then she drifted off to sleep for some precious sleepy baby photos.
