This little peanut was so beautiful and so good. He slept like a dream and was ready for his big photo shoot. His parents hope he plays an instrument some day and when Daddy saw the piano he was so exited to incorporate into a few photos. Look, he's a natural!
I already know the answer to that question as I'm very behind on blogging ;) We had such a fun session though and this was one of the most fun families I've ever worked with. Stay tuned to not only find out the gender of their little baby but to take a peek at some photos from the birth of their baby as well as the newborn session.
I've had the privileged of photographing this families last two babies. This sessions was even more special because it would be the last before they started there new adventure in Japan. Dad is in the US Navy and is now stationed there. It was a bitter sweet time as I've seen this family grow over the last 2 years and will be sad to see them leave. Good luck Robinson Family on your next adventure!
I first met Stephanie and Matt when they were a family to be. They had hired me to take some engagement portraits/family photos, a couple of years ago. We had met up for an outdoor session along with Stephanie's 2 sons. Her youngest little guy would have nothing to do with me or my camera but we did the best we could and really had some fun.
I was so excited, a few months back, to hear again from Stephanie. She wanted to hire me for Maternity and Newborn photos. Her and Matt had joined their families and were expecting another baby boy.
This time around I was ready, with a $5 bill in my pocket, to bribe, the now older brother Timmy, if needed. Timmy had some exciting news to tell me though (although he didn't actually tell me himself ;) ) he and is new little brother, Charlie, share a birthday. How cool is that! Timmy is over the moon in love with this new little person and was more then willing to co-operate for all the photos I could possible take. In the end we had a fantastic session and to show my appreciation I walked away with $5 less in my pocket. Thanks Timmy for being such a great big brother!
This was such a FUN session. I was contacted by a Dad who wanted to have a photo shoot with his little boy before he took him back to Florida after summer break. What a good Daddy to make sure he had great up to date photos not just of his son, but WITH his son. We did an urban shoot around Everett and just had so much fun. Letting his little boy's personality just shine through and capturing tons of smiles.
Ty Trenary is now the Snohomish County Sheriff and will be running in the election for 2014/2015. I met up with him and his wife, along with their two beautiful daughters, to take some updated photos for his campaign. They were all so much fun and so easy to work with. I look forward to working with them again in the future.
This sweet little newborn boy was such a treat to have in the studio. He slept and slept and slept. Every newborn photographers dream. What a good little boy and you can tell his parents are just smitten with him, who wouldn't be?!
I was very excited to do this session. I was mostly excited because I was glad Casee had booked a session to include not only her family but her parents and her grandmother. I really wish I had done something like this when my grandparents were still with us, and to be honest, it never even occurred to me. As I was snapping photos of Casee with her grandmother or caught myself getting a little emotional.
We can't turn back time, and I do have photos with my grandparents, but if I could I really would have made the time and put forth the effort to have professional photos done with them. Now, as a photographer, I can remind others the importance of these things. Not just your immediate family but you need to get all of the generations together.
It has been amazing photographing this baby from before she was born to her first breath and now as a toddling 1 year old. She is such a beautiful little girl. We tried her patience during this session but all in all we really got some amazing photos.
I've been working with this family for 2 years now. I photographed their first newborn daughter and was excited when they had me back to photograph their second newborn daughter. Big sister is so excited to have a baby in the house. She was also very excited when it came time to capture a few Two year portraits. Happy Birthday to both of you sweet girls!
