I only met this family a few months ago and I already feel so bonded to them. We first met when Cherish contacted me about photographing her husband coming home from a deployment. I joined her, their 3 year old and several other families at the Naval station in Oak Harbor and watched many families reunite. If you haven't ever seen one of these in person you really should. It really is so powerful and gives you an even better understanding of what these families go through. It was hard to cry and stay "focused." For some reason I think I missed blogging that session so I'll share a few photos here.
