I've photographed 3 different families from this family and it's been so great to get to know all of them. From newborns, toddlers and preschoolers to moms, dads and even fur babies. During this session I was able to meet baby Bruce. What a doll he was. The stunning blue eyes and charming smile is enough to melt anyone's heart.

After a couple scheduling set backs I was finally able to meet up with this adorable, sweet family. It was only about 37 degrees outside but the kids were real troopers and braved the elements. Probably the quickest session I've done but if there's a will there's a way lol We had fun, laughed and captured some really great memories.
I really enjoy working with this family. I first met them when there 6th baby was born and they hired me to do his newborn photos. Almost 3 years later they hired me again to photograph their 7th little one's Cake Smash. I also did a group photo of all the kiddos. I'll admit, I was nervous. Photographing 7 kids isn't something I do that often. These kids were AMAZING! I mean they really were. They followed directions, they were so polite and sweet. We were able to get a great group photo of these adorable kids.
When we moved on to the Cake Smash portion for little Jilly she was hilarious! Se kept looking at all of her siblings and you could tell she wanted to say "Haha, this cake is all MINE!" She would stop, look around and just laugh and laugh. What a character. When I first photographed this little guy he was just a few days old and a tiny little peanut. He arrived a few weeks early and weighed under 6lbs. When he returned for his 6 months photos I was in disbelief, this adorable rolly baby couldn't be the same premie I met 6 months ago. He is such a ham, grinning constantly. I can't wait to see him in a few weeks for his 9 month session.
Over the last couple of years I've become friends with another local photographer, Karensa. We now share a studio space which as worked out wonderful. I was so excited, honored and nervous when she asked me to photograph her family. I mean this girl does some GREAT work and she wants ME to capture her memories??? Boy oh boy I better get this right. We met at a beautiful location on a freezing December afternoon. Her little kiddos were so cold but they did so great. Thank you Karensa for intrusting me with capturing this time and thank you for your friendship.
This family was very eager to get their sweet baby girl in for a session. She was already 2 1/2 weeks old and they knew how important it was to capture this special time as they change so much those first few weeks. We were able to get them in with in a few days and capture some really beautiful photos. We even included their fur baby :)
I've been working with this family for a couple of years now and let me tell you they sure do have some adorable kids! Mom is very crafty and has a small business of her own and Dad spends his days protecting our country in the US Navy. I was so excited when I found out they were expecting and wanted me to photograph their new baby girl. Here she is:
It has been so great getting to know this family. I've photographed 2 of their newborns now. They are now stationed in Japan but I am so happy they came back to me for one last session. Best of luck to you guys and thank you for intrusting your memories with me.
I was able to use an AMAZING location for fall photos this year. The colors were bright, bold and beautiful. I did many Fall Mini sessions and met new families and had several return families as well. We had so much fun wishing on dandelions, tossing leaves, laughing, running and hiding behind trees. Fall seemed so short this year and before we knew it all the leaves had fallen from the trees. See ya next year!
I first met Stephanie and Matt when they were a family to be. They had hired me to take some engagement portraits/family photos, a couple of years ago. We had met up for an outdoor session along with Stephanie's 2 sons. Her youngest little guy would have nothing to do with me or my camera but we did the best we could and really had some fun.
I was so excited, a few months back, to hear again from Stephanie. She wanted to hire me for Maternity and Newborn photos. Her and Matt had joined their families and were expecting another baby boy. This time around I was ready, with a $5 bill in my pocket, to bribe, the now older brother Timmy, if needed. Timmy had some exciting news to tell me though (although he didn't actually tell me himself ;) ) he and is new little brother, Charlie, share a birthday. How cool is that! Timmy is over the moon in love with this new little person and was more then willing to co-operate for all the photos I could possible take. In the end we had a fantastic session and to show my appreciation I walked away with $5 less in my pocket. Thanks Timmy for being such a great big brother! |
