A few weeks ago I headed out to Bothell Landing and did some many sessions. The day was perfect and I got to meet with several return clients. We all had a lot of fun and captured some wonderful memories.

Some little ones are just more serious then others. We never can anticipate how a session will go. Kason is a serious little guy and would rather be held by his mommy, then have me take his photos. His older brother Wes is very opposite and LOVES the camera. I've been photographing them both since they were born. I love getting to see them grow and the differences in personalities. We did this session in 2 parts. Kason was not a happy camper in the studio and did not like the Cake Smash, however big brother was eager to sneak in for a bite. A few weeks later we got together at a park and tried for some more life-style type shots. The results were a little better but still no big gins. This is just who he is and that perfectly fine cause he's still cute as can be!
I've had such a pleasure watching Kevin and Crystal grow together and become closer as a family. In a few months they will be getting married and I am so happy for them. They've taken on each others boy's as their own and it's so heart warming to see. It's not everyday you see something as great as what they have. Congratulations you guys!
It has been such a joy to watch Jessica grow from a pleasant, bright, beautiful girl in to such an amazing young woman. I'm so proud of her accomplishments and am happy to see how in love and happy she is with Jorge. Not everyone is as lucky as they are. To meet, fall and love, and marry your High school (or maybe Junior High I believe) sweet heart is something some could only dream of. Congratulations you two. I look forward to watching the two of you grow as a couple and in many years ;) grow as a family.
Even though I just delivered Carrie and Jason's newborn gallery today I still just have to share their Maternity session. It's just so beautiful and was so much fun. They're going to be such great and loving parents. Stay tuned for photos of the gorgeous newborn daughter or head over to my facebook page for a sneak peek :)
I was very excited to do this session. I was mostly excited because I was glad Casee had booked a session to include not only her family but her parents and her grandmother. I really wish I had done something like this when my grandparents were still with us, and to be honest, it never even occurred to me. As I was snapping photos of Casee with her grandmother or caught myself getting a little emotional.
We can't turn back time, and I do have photos with my grandparents, but if I could I really would have made the time and put forth the effort to have professional photos done with them. Now, as a photographer, I can remind others the importance of these things. Not just your immediate family but you need to get all of the generations together. Logan's session was done in 2 parts. He came to the studio for his Cake Smash and then he and his family met me at the park for some photos to honor his Grandpa who's no longer with us. His Grandpa was a Hot Air Balloon pilot. Logan's mom Brynn wanted these special photos which is what lead to my mini session theme. I've known Brynn and her family for a very long time and told her they were over-due for family photos since they hadn't any done since before Logan was born. I told them to all come prepared for photos :)
Part 2 of our Spring Minis were a BLAST. Almost (we had a couple that had NO desire to get near the balloons lol) everyone had fun and the Hot Air Balloon was a big hit. I think I'll be doing these again sometime. So much fun and absolutely adorable. When those little ones climbed into the basic their little personalities really came out.
I met this adorable young lucky in love couple 2 weeks ago. They just cracked me up numerous times. I love that they were never nervous and just acted like themselves. This baby girl is going to have one heck of a sense of humor. I can't wait to meet her in just a few weeks.
