Olivia's part of my Watch Me Grow program. It's starts from newborn and then every 3 months until a year. Boy was she such a doll baby for her session. Her momma always comes with fantastic ideas and I really enjoy our sessions together. Love watching these babies grow! Add Comment Logan's session was done in 2 parts. He came to the studio for his Cake Smash and then he and his family met me at the park for some photos to honor his Grandpa who's no longer with us. His Grandpa was a Hot Air Balloon pilot. Logan's mom Brynn wanted these special photos which is what lead to my mini session theme. I've known Brynn and her family for a very long time and told her they were over-due for family photos since they hadn't any done since before Logan was born. I told them to all come prepared for photos :) Part 2 of our Spring Minis were a BLAST. Almost (we had a couple that had NO desire to get near the balloons lol) everyone had fun and the Hot Air Balloon was a big hit. I think I'll be doing these again sometime. So much fun and absolutely adorable. When those little ones climbed into the basic their little personalities really came out. In the beginning of May we had our first round of Spring Mini sessions. The theme was "Gardening In The Park." It was great to see so many return clients come back on and of the little ones had a great time. Miss Hadley....What a GORGEOUS baby doll. She was such a happy little thing for her session. I really enjoyed watching her and her momma together. Her mom serves for Our US Navy and recently had re-enlisted. I have so much respect for her. She's creating such a wonderful life for her and her sweet girl. I first met Jordan's family when his parents were expecting his older sister Bella. It has been such a pleasure to photograph this young growing family over the last two years. Jordan's daddy recently left for contract work in Afghanistan and I am so happy we were able to do these photos before he left. Bella has never really enjoyed me being around but I was very please with the way her mommy tricked her into one photo with her baby brother. A photo they will surely treasure forever <3 Many of my clients have met my very best friend, Sabrina. Sabrina and I shared a studio in her home. Sabrina and I met 2 1/2 years ago in a mommy photography group on-line. We saw we lived in the same town and she hired me to do her sons 6 month photos. We instantly just clicked (no pun intended). Have you ever had a soul mate besides your spouse? Someone you just feel like you've known forever? I mean it's like we're sisters, except better because we never fight lol Our families spent holidays together, vacationed together and spent several days a week together. This Fall everything was going to change. Sabrina's husband was getting out of the Navy and a new career was going to take them to Texas. I was devastated to say the least. Of course I know you have to do what's best for your family but I was so heart broken to loose such a big part of my life. She's assured me that she is a great long-distant friend but I know it's just not the same. Our kids are each others best friends as well so I knew this would be hard for all of us. It's been just over a month now since the big move and I'm finally able to blog her session and not get emotional over it. I have good days and bad. Life's not the same anymore but I know overtime it will hurt a little less. Sabrina has been a really great long-distance friend, like she said she would be. We talk daily, sometimes more then once a day. We've also have both acquired, what I like to call, therapy pets. I have a kitten, named Sabrina lol and She recently got a dog named Buddy :) This first photo from their session is our four kids. Sabrina's two and then mine :) December was a CRAZY month with 3 Cake Smash sessions. I just love these session. Little personalities can really come out. Plus, who doesn't love a baby covered in sweet, sticky, tasty frosting. Here are some photos from the sessions that were done. Tessa and I met to capture this beautiful time in her life. She was absolutely radiant. You could tell she was so excited to be expecting a baby girl. We had so much fun during her session. I'm a bit behind on blogging and have already photographed her new baby so stay tuned for that session as well. |
