Tony, my best friends husband, deployed for 208 days. During that time my friendship with Sabrina became even stronger. She is truly a friend sole-mate to me. My husband and I made sure her and her family were taken care of, the best we could. We had many meals, play-dates, laughs and long conversations together. It is such a great feeling to walk in to someone else's home and feel as if it is your own.
The day of Tony's homecoming made Sabrina a ball of nerves. Speeding and running red lights were had until I took over driving. Her kids were so excited to see their daddy and tried very hard to be patient while we waited at the airport for him.
When Sabrina spotted her husband she took off like a jet. This left me with my camera, a 2 year old, a diaper bag and a sea bag as she sped across the airport. I did some one handed maneouvering with my camera and captured photos the best I could. I know we will look back and laugh as we look through the photos and see a piece of luggage clearly in focus and Tony and Sabrina's first embrace a blur in the background. Oh well, what can ya do.
Welcome Home Lieutenant Cademarti! Thank you for sacrificing and serving for our country!
I first met this beautiful little girl a year ago when I took her newborn photos. I just love seeing how they've changed over a year. She's a busy little thing and so full of character. I'm already looking forward to her Two year photos.
These siblings came to the studio for their One year and Three year photos. So much fun was had. Lil Miss was pretty done after about 15 minutes but what a baby doll she is. Big brother could have stayed and painted all day.
Met with this adorable blue-eye boy at the Evergreen Arboretum. He was so full of smiles and dimples. And the way he looked at his mama....melts my heart.
Freyja has to be the happiest baby I have ever seen. She just smiles and smiles at you. IF this little girl doesn't warm your heart I don't know what will.
This little fella came to the studio with his parents. He was such a sweet sweet boy. I just LOVED all of his hair.
These two adorable siblings came to the studio and mama had a vision. A couple of adorable visions actually! Geek and Dr. Seuss?! Who would have thought.
This feisty little lady made me work VERY hard. We met in studio for her Cake Smash session but she just wasn't filling it. I decided to pop the almost perfect cake into the freezer and try for a retake outside the following week. We had much better results and Bella was a happy little clam.
This handsome little man came all the way from Coupeville to visit me. His parents are both in the Navy and I thank them for serving for us. They are such a beautiful family and you can just see the love they have for their baby boy.
I met this adorable trio of siblings a couple of weeks ago. I was so impressed at how well behaved they were and on the AMAZING sibling photo I captured. Such a sweet bunch!
